Kenneth M. Hesser
Kenneth Hesser has been practicing in the Ocala area since passing the Florida Bar in 2000. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Ken is a 1997 graduate of Penn State Univerity and attended law school at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. He has lived with his wife in the Gainesville area since 1999.
During his professional career, he has handled hundreds of workers' compensation and employment law claims at the trial and appeallate level, representing both claimants and insurance companies. Prior to coming to work for Mr. Hightower, Ken worked for a large statewide insurance defense firm where he gained unique perspective on the workers' compensation system from the perspective of employers and insurance companies. He has also spoken to numerous insurance groups regarding issues in workers' compensation, in addition to heading a workshop focusing on the widesweeping reforms of the 2003 workers' compensation statute. Mr. Hesser is a member of the Workers' Compensation Rules Committee of the Florida Bar and the Young Lawyers' Division. He also is a diligent member in the local legal community, editing the Marion County Bar newsletter, and also involved heavily in leadership at his church.
Since 2003, Ken has aggresively represented injured workers for Daniel Hightower, PA. Though he will always cherish his "Yankee" roots (and love of the Philadelphia Eagles), Ken is ecstatic to continue his professional career in beautiful Marion County.
