Jocelyn Poole, born and raised in Miami, Florida, is a member of the Litigation Team at Daniel L. Hightower, P.A. 

Ms. Poole is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, earning a degree in biology–premedical. After graduation, she taught high school sciences while attending and receiving her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston, Bates College of Law in Houston, Texas. Ms. Poole was licensed to practice law in both Texas and Florida in 1981 and is currently licensed to practice law in Florida.

Ms. Poole has been an active trial lawyer for 29 years and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury cases including automobile accidents, premises liability accidents and other general negligence matters. Ms. Poole has also served as corporate trial counsel for one of the largest insurance carriers in the United States, thereby gaining valuable insight and information in handling cases against insurance carriers.

Ms. Poole has been awarded an “AV” Martindale-Hubbell Peer Rating, the highest rating attainable by an attorney. She is also a Certified Civil Court Mediator, Qualified Arbitrator and Certified Postal Redress Mediator.

For recreation, Ms. Poole enjoys playing golf, growing orchids and painting with watercolors. She also has volunteered in the Miami-Dade schools as a tutor for elementary school children.
